A Really Big Picnic
For us, the biggest reason to get married the old fashioned way is to get everyone we love together for a great big party. We want to spend time with the people we've invited, so we've planned a long afternoon and evening of festivities. There will be food and drink throughout the day, lawn games, dinner, and dancing into the night, as a tribute to all the family get-togethers and reunions we've had over the years.
One of the things we like to do most is dress up, and we're hoping you will too. The atmosphere we're going for is a proper old-timey picnic — think old photographs of people playing baseball in their Sunday best. Fancy hats, parasols, linen suits are all very much encouraged. Come ready to play and snack all day.
